A large oil on canvas by Jacques Delvaux (Belgium, 1929-2010) of a gypsy caravan in the snow by a railway. The painting, which is dated 1969 is in its original frame and signed.
Delvaux was the great-nephew of the Belgian surrealist artist, Paul Delvaux (1897-1994) and studied painting at the Academy in Antwerp.
