A large 20th century Herend porcelain, gilt and polychrome decorated cachepot with shell form handles and decorated in the Rothschild pattern (7212) of birds and insects with the Herend stamp on the base.
The bird pattern was named Rothschild Bird decor RO in honour of the Rothschild family's patronage in 1861.
