A decorative 19th century hand-coloured engraving of Hibiscus Splendens published by the botanist Benjamin Maund (1760-1864) assisted by the Reverend J S Henslow between 1836 and 1842.  Most of the illustrations were done by woman artists including Mrs Withers and one of Maund's daughters.

The print is elegantly presented in a decorative mount and our exclusive scalloped frame which is hand-painted in two contrasting colours: Little Greene's Hopper and Confetti and non-reflective glass.
