A handwoven tapestry after Bernard Buffet's painting: 'The Owl' or 'La Chouette', 1969. In the early 1970s Bernard Buffet (1928-1999) collaborated with the renowned weavers, DMC (founded in 1746) to create this charming reproduction of a small owl perched on a branch. Wear consistent with age and use. It is presented in a brown sloped frame with linen slip.
